From covering your mouth and nose with a mask, and staying at least six feet from others when out in public, to washing your hands and applying sanitizer whenever possible, COVID-19 has changed many of the things we do daily— including banking.
Throughout the past 90 days, the team at Fidelity Bank & Trust has stayed committed to our customers by not only monitoring the current COVID-19 pandemic and following guidelines established by local, state and federal health officials, but by also offering up products and services to best serve our business and consumer customers.
“The safety of our customers and staff is, and always has been, our top priority,” says Jan Schwers, Assistant Vice-President. “In March, we suspended lobby hours and continued to service our customers through drive-up and appointment only. For customers wanting to limit public interaction, we encouraged them to take advantage of our non-contact banking services including online banking, mobile banking, night drop, ATMs, and TimeSaver Deposit for our business customers.”
TimeSaver Deposit allows Fidelity Bank & Trust business customers the convenience of depositing checks into their Fidelity Bank & Trust account electronically from their location, any time of the day. Throughout the pandemic, this service allowed businesses to stay afloat, from the comfort of their office spaces.
“Going back to the very basics of banking by mail and night drop allowed us to serve our customers well during the pandemic and we project it will continue to allow us to serve them well long after,” says Jan. “We pride ourselves on our mobile and online products including our mobile app on the iTunes App Store or Google Play Store, online banking, bill pay, and mobile deposit, making it simple and convenient for our customers to take charge of their finances, even when they can’t leave their house.”
Beginning Monday, June 8, 2020, Fidelity Bank & Trust implemented new procedures to reopen lobbies and resume regular business hours.
“Though our doors may have been closed and business plans may have shifted, we want you to know we are here to welcome you back,” says Jan.
