“As I was growing up I always noticed our local Fidelity Bank having a hand in a wide variety of philanthropic events and community engagement,” said Carolyn Turnis, Retail Loan Officer. “It’s part of what pulled me to Fidelity and makes me proud to work here, plus they are generous enough to give their employees time to devote to this effort,” she added.
So far in 2021, Fidelity employees have contributed more than $13,000 to charities as an effort to wearing jeans every other Friday. They’ve also volunteered more than 500 hours in the communities they call home.
“It’s evident giving back to the community is a main priority for us as Your Hometown Bank,” Turnis went on to explain. “Our employees live and breathe our mission day in and day out. It’s so fun to see us making a difference in the towns we call home! In our Cascade branch, we take pride every year in the Angel Tree Program as we partner with Resources Unite, our local school and our community members to ensure that all families in need are able to provide gifts to their children and enjoy the Holidays together. What is even more special is these types of events are happening year-round in ALL of the communities we serve!”
