All Fidelity Bank & Trust ATM and debit card holders will receive a new contactless debit card in the mail in early January. You may activate your new card on Monday, January 22, 2024. Your current ATM or debit card will expire at that time. Learn more about this card conversion and what you need to know below.

Starting on January 19th and through the weekend, balance notifications will not be available for current debit cards and your purchases will not appear in online/mobile banking. Please be diligent by keeping track of your purchases and knowing your spending limits to avoid overspending the balance available in your account. ACTIVATING YOUR NEW DEBIT CARD
You will receive your new debit card in the mail during the week of January 8th. Card activation details will be included in your mailer, but plan to keep this information in a safe location until you can activate your card on January 22nd. Your new debit card must be activated by phone before it can be used.
NOTE: Be sure to activate your new debit card using the phone number the bank has on file so it can validate your credentials. Stay on the line to select your PIN.

MyCardRules is accessible on your dashboard in Online/Mobile Banking and provides you enhanced card control options. These controls allow you robust, self-service fraud prevention tools including features such as:
DIGITAL WALLETS
Add your new debit card to your mobile phone’s digital wallet for a convenient, yet secure way to pay. More details will be coming on a date when digital wallets will be available. At that time, simply open the Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay app on your phone and follow the prompts to securely load your debit card. When using your card from your digital wallet, each transaction is authorized with a one-time unique security code. This makes it nearly impossible for fraudsters to steal card information to make unauthorized purchases.

You can begin using your new debit card on January 22, 2024 after 6:00 a.m (CST); however, you must activate your card before using it.
You can activate your debit card any time after 6:00 a.m. (CST) on January 22, 2024. Simply call the phone number indicated on the sticker of your new debit card and verify your information accordingly. Please call from the phone number the bank has on file and stay on the line to select your PIN.
You will choose your PIN when you call to activate your new debit card on or after January 22, 2024. Call the activation number indicated on the sticker of your new debit card from the phone number the bank has on file. Once you verify your information to activate your new debit card, stay on the line to select your PIN.
Your current debit card can be used until 9:00 a.m. (CST) on January 22, 2024. After this date and time, your existing debit card will be obsolete, so it is important to receive and activate your new debit card before then.
Yes! You will receive a new debit card with a new card number, so any payments or subscriptions using your current debit card number will not process after January 22, 2024. Be sure to update recurring payments to avoid interruption.

Yes! The ability to toggle your debit card between active and locked will remain accessible on your dashboard in Online/Mobile Banking. By locking your debit card, you temporarily suspend any transactions until you activate the card once again. This is a great tool for fraud prevention in the case where you have misplaced your debit card.
In addition to your new debit card having a contactless payment option for convenience and security, you will also have enhanced card control options within Online/Mobile Banking. These new controls allow you robust, self-service fraud prevention tools. You can enable a variety of ‘Alert & Protections’ settings such as:
No; however, many of the features in Brella can now be accessed within Fidelity Bank & Trust’s Online/Mobile Banking. The ability to enable a variety of ‘Alert & Protections’ settings (as indicated in the question above) and person-to-person payment options from Bill Pay can all be accessed in your Online/Mobile Banking dashboard. No need to use an additional app!
As we convert to the all-new contactless debit cards, we will no longer be part of the Privilege Status network. Please know, however, that using Fidelity Bank & Trust ATMs will always be surcharge free. If you frequent other ATMs that typically charge, please consider a Hometown Hype, Hype Xtreme or Snap $tack account. These accounts refund ATM fees up to $10 per month when you qualify for the reward.
