Our Trust & Investment Services department of our Wealth Management division offers services for individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations, including:
- IRA / 401(k) ROLLOVERS
- An IRA is an account that allows an individual to save for retirement on a tax-deferred basis. This account also allows for the transfer of assets from an old employer sponsored retirement account (401k) to a traditional IRA. The purpose is to maintain the tax-deferred status of those assets.
- REVOCABLE TRUST
- A revocable trust is a living trust that outlines the assets you want to give a beneficiary and how the assets will be distributed. Revocable trusts often name the grantor as the trustee, allowing for full control of the trust. With a revocable trust you maintain the ability to make changes to it after its been created. That means you can update your beneficiaries, how much money or which assets are included, and when the contents of your trust will be distributed. A Revocable Trust becomes Irrevocable upon the death of the grantor.
- IRREVOCABLE TRUSTS
- An irrevocable trust, which can also be a type of living trust, details your assets and how you’d like them to be distributed to your beneficiaries. However, unlike a revocable trust, irrevocable trusts are pretty much set in stone and can’t be easily changed.
- INVESTMENT AGENCY ACCOUNTS
- For individuals who do not have the knowledge, the time, or the expertise to do so on their own, this type of account allows you to work with a professional and feel confident that your investments are in good hands. It provides access to a broad range of investments, including stocks, mutual funds, bonds, exchange-traded funds and more.
- NON-PROFIT INVESTMENT STRATEGIES
- Non-profits work hard to raise money to support their missions. Investing reserve funds in a detailed plan using investments such as stocks, bonds, and other financial instruments can help a nonprofit earn more on their existing funds.
- 401(k) RETIREMENT PLAN SERVICES
- An employer sponsored retirement plan that works by investing employee contributions – and employer matches, if offered. This allows employees to save for retirement and contribute a portion of their wages to a tax-deferred account.
- TRUST & ESTATE ADMINISTRATION
- Estate administration is the process by which an individual’s lifetime financial affairs are wound up, and their property and assets are distributed after they die. Fidelity Bank & Trust Wealth Management Trust & Investment Services can serve as a corporate fiduciary, either as a trustee or an executor, for estate settlements.
- RETIREMENT PLANNING
- Whether you’re retiring in 10 years or you’ve been retired for 10 years, getting organized, planning ahead, and being in control of your money-related matters, goes a long way toward making your retirement experience rich and rewarding.
- EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS
- Fidelity Bank & Trust Wealth Management will offer periodic informative seminars on Estate Planning and Retirement Planning.
