A new way to bank with Fidelity is launching soon!

UPDATE AUGUST 13, 2025:  Account opening in online & mobile banking is now available!  Simply login to your Fidelity accounts, then select "Accounts" from the menu and choose "Open An Account" to get started!

Kathy McAllisterAt Fidelity Bank & Trust, we’re always looking for ways to make your banking experience better. That’s why we’re excited to announce a new feature designed with you in mind – account opening through online and mobile banking is launching soon!

“We know life is busy, and we want to meet our customers where they are – at home, at work, or on the go,” said Kathy McAllister, Chief Retail & Marketing Officer at Fidelity Bank & Trust.  “This new feature is one more way we’re fulfilling our mission of making hometown lives better,” added McAllister.

You already know the service and support that comes with banking at Your Hometown Bank. Soon, you’ll have the added convenience of opening consumer accounts like checking, savings and CDs…anytime, anywhere you can access Fidelity’s online banking or mobile banking app.  

Here’s what to expect when opening an account remotely:

  • QUICK
    The process is designed to be secure and speedy, taking less than ten minutes from start to finish.
  • CONVENIENT
    Open an account on any device, anytime.  You can even pause your application and pick up where you left off at a later time or from a different device.
  • SECURE
    This new feature will still be supported by the people you know – your friends at Fidelity Bank & Trust!  Plus, we use a combination of robust security measures to ensure only you are accessing your information through online and mobile banking. 

Whether you need an additional checking account, or want to take advantage of our CD specials, you’ll be able to do it all at your convenience.  Keep an eye on your inbox and online/mobile banking messages for updates on availability in August.  The feature is expected to be available to non-customers later this year.
