Your checking account should do more than hold your money.  As Your Hometown Bank, we offer three Rewards Checking Account options – Hometown HYPE, HYPE Xtreme, and Snap $tack.  

With each Rewards Checking Account, you can qualify to earn interest and receive up to $10 is ATM refunds, but choosing the right account depends on how you bank and what rewards matter most to you.  Learn which Rewards Checking Account may be the right fit for you:

 

HOMETOWN HYPE
If you’re looking for an account that rewards your regular banking habits, Hometown HYPE is a great place to start.  It provides an easy way to earn more and enjoy valuable perks when you actively use your checking account. 

  • Key Features
    • Qualify to earn higher interest on balances up to $50,000
    • Receive up to $10 in ATM fee refunds when you meet the qualifications
    • Added benefits of BaZing: cell phone protection, roadside assistance, fraud coverage and discount program from national and local retailers
  • How to Qualify
    • Must have Online or Mobile Banking with eStatements.  Enrollment completed by customer along with valid email address. 
    • Ten (10) signature or PIN based debit card transactions required per statement cycle.
    • Two (2) automatic transfers (ACH or direct deposit) required per statement cycle.
    • Qualifying transactions must post and settle during the statement cycle. If qualifications are not met, the interest rate earned will be the lower rate tier.

    • You want an easy-to-maintain rewards account
    • You value additional lifestyle benefits and discounts
    • You want to earn higher interest without a large balance requirement

 

HYPE XTREME
For those maintaining a higher balance, HYPE Xtreme offers an opportunity to maximize earnings while still enjoying the convenience of a checking account. 

  • Key Features
    • Qualify to earn higher interest on balances up to $1 Million
    • Receive up to $10 in ATM fee refunds when you meet the qualifications
  • How to Qualify
    • Must have Online or Mobile Banking with eStatements.  Enrollment completed by customer along with valid email address. 
    • Twelve (12) signature or PIN based debit card transactions required per statement cycle.
    • Four (4) automatic transfers (ACH or direct deposit) required per statement cycle.
    • Maintain average daily balance of $50,000 or more.
    • Qualifying transactions must post and settle during the statement cycle. If qualifications are not met, the interest rate earned will be the lower rate tier. 
  • Choose if...
    • You maintain larger balances
    • Maximizing interest earnings is your top priority
    • You want premium rewards on balances up to $1 million

 

SNAP $TACK
Snap $tack earns you cash back on your everyday transactions!  It combines the convenience of checking with the power of a companion savings account.  When qualifications are met in Snap $tack Checking, cash back rewards are automatically deposited into your Snap $tack savings account, helping you build savings while you spend. 

  • Key Features
    • Qualify to earn:
      • Premium interest on balances up to $5,000 in Snap $tack Savings
      • Cash back activity credits deposited into Snap $tack Savings
      • $0.30 cash back on each ACH Debit/Credit and POS
      • $10.00 monthly cap on cash back
      • $10 monthly ATM fee refunds
    • Minimum opening balance of $1,000 for Snap $tack Checking.
    • Must have Snap $tack Savings with opening balance of $50.
  • How to Qualify
    • Must have Online or Mobile Banking with eStatements.  Enrollment completed by customer along with valid email address. 
    • One (1) signature or PIN based debit card transaction required per qualification period.
    • Two (2) automatic transfers (ACH or direct deposit) required per qualification period.
    • $1000 minimum average ledger balance during qualification period.
    • Must have Snap $tack Savings for cash back activity credits.
    • Qualifying transactions must post and settle during the qualification period.  This period begins on the 27th of the month and ends on the 26th of the following month.
